English or French Immersion Courses
Part-Time Program
Students can enroll anytime
The ideal program for students who want to improve their overall English- or French-language proficiency for general purposes and have the confidence to communicate effectively in daily life. This course is ideal for students who would like time to settle into Montréal life before moving up to other classes.
In this course, students learn to communicate quickly and effectively as classes focus on the four most important aspects of learning a language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students can enroll in English or French language courses at any time of the year; full-time courses range from four weeks to 50 weeks. New students receive placement tests at the beginning of each month.
- 15 hours/week
- French courses from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.*
- English courses from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- 12 sessions a year (once a month for complete beginners, and every Monday for students with prior knowledge of the language)
- 11 levels**
- Courses 50 weeks of the year!
- 15 students maximum per group (average 8)
- Placement test for new students at the beginning of each month
*French courses follow English course schedule (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) in summer: May, June, and July
Semi-Intensive Program
Take learning to the next level
Do you plan on pursuing higher education in English or French? Do you hope to get that dream job and need your language skills to help get you there? Our semi-intensive program combines our Part-Time General English or French course with a 1.5-hour per day Grammar and Writing booster that will help you meet your language goals. Our dedicated and experienced teachers will work with you to get your English or French where it needs to go.
As an added benefit, students can receive a free two-week language workshop when they buy a three-month package or get four weeks of free language workshops when they purchase a six-month package of semi-intensive courses.
- 22.5 hours/week (qualifies as a full-time academic program)
- French classes from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.**
- English classes from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
- 12 sessions a year (once a month for complete beginners, and every Monday for students with prior knowledge of the language)
- 11 levels** + exam preparation (IELTS, TEFaQ) + specialized Academic Writing course

Eager to learn English or French efficiently? The Full-Time Intensive program is the ideal way to develop either English or French skills quickly, in a learning environment that is enriching and encouraging. This program combines the Semi-Intensive program with specialized elective workshops that you can choose from to build a program that’s right for you.The Full-Time Intensive language workshops include a vocabulary and grammar booster, conversation booster, pronunciation booster, college preparation, business English or French, and varying topical workshops
- 30 hours/week (qualifies as a full-time academic program)
- French classes from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. + 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.**
- English classes from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. + 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- 12 sessions a year (once a month for complete beginners, and every Monday for students with prior knowledge of the language)

Gold Package
Private lessons to boost learning
This option allows students to combine Semi-Intensive English or French courses with 1.5 hours of private lessons each day. So, get all of the benefits of the classroom and group outings, along with the chance to refine your skills with one-on-one instruction.
On the first day of class, all students take a placement test to assess their current language abilities and match them to the most suitable course for their level. To progress to the next level, a student must receive a final mark of 70% on their exit test. In the unlikely event of a course cancellation due to insufficient registration, you may replace the Intensive immersion courses with private or semi-private classes.
